The market at Lake Iznajar is on the first Thursday of every month. It is held in the grounds of Hotel Caserio. A lovely hotel overlooking the lake. When you have driven over the bridge at Iznajar, turn left and then left again and follow the road around. You can see the hotel when you first arrive at the bridge, look to your left and it's on the other side of the lake. Iznajar is in the Cordoba region and for those that use Sat. nav's. the postcode is 14970. A trip to Iznajar makes a lovely day out, you can call in at the market and have breakfast or lunch at the hotel while enjoying the spectacular views of the lake and surrounding area's and then take a walk around the town or enjoy the beach just below the market. This is another place to meet up with old friends and make new ones and learn about the many social events that take place at the hotel.
There is now a collection of clothes being collected for those in need. Each market day Reverent Doreen is going to be there for any people who would like to donate items for this cause and then she will distribute them to those in need. Why not have a clear out and take any items you do not wear any more to the market for Reverent Doreen. As we all know this is a very worthy cause. Anyone arriving early can always drop off donations at the plant stall, just inside the gate and we will pass them on to Doreen when she arrives.
Clothes and accessories, Home interiors, plants and garden supplies, Arts and Crafts, Honey and other items, jewellery and accessories. Gpar Charity stall, Greetings cards and high class jewellery, Books, English food items including pies pasties and chilled goods. Avon products. CBD oil, also help and advice on how it works. Plaques and other handmade painted decorative items. Original Moroccan items. DVD's and C.D's. There are new stalls every month. There is also a car boot section to browse around or you can set up and sell some of those unwanted items. Gpar have a stall on this market. They raise money for stray dogs and have a dog refuge.
